FERGUS FALLS - One man was arrested for drunken driving after driving into Otter Tail Lake on Saturday night.

According to police, about 9 p.m. Saturday, Fergus Falls resident Taylor Ray Perala drove into open water on Otter Tail Lake, about 20 miles north and east of Fergus.

Perala and a passenger were able to get out of the partially submerged vehicle and get to safety.

Perala was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The vehicle was being removed from Otter Tail Lake Monday afternoon.
