Candidates for local office continue to file for various positions in advance of the Tuesday filing deadline.
Incumbent Pine River Mayor Tamara Hansen filed for re-election.
In Barclay Township, three incumbents filed for re-election: Clarence Sears for town supervisor seat 2; Bruce Digiovanni for town supervisor seat 3; and Brenda Hamilton for town treasurer.
In Beulah Township, several filed for available seats. Frances A. Olds and Larry L. Zdenek filed for town supervisor seat 1. Richard Anderson, incumbent, filed for seat 3. Incumbent town treasurer Sandra L. Reno submitted her name for re-election.
Incumbent Rick Wilson filed for re-election as town supervisor seat 1 in Loon Lake Township.

Two incumbents filed for township supervisor in Moose Lake Township: Mark Strom for seat 2 and Jorg Achermann for seat 3. Linda L. Johnson filed for town treasurer.
In Otter Tail Peninsula Township, incumbent Earl Tiggemann filed for town supervisor seat 1 and Kathryn Lyness, incumbent, filed for town treasurer.
In Pine Lake Township, Polly Lynn Ruhl and Heather Landreville both filed to reclaim their seats. Ruhl filed for town supervisor seat 1 and Landreville filed for town supervisor seat 2.
Incumbent James E. Ballenthin filed for re-election to town supervisor seat 1 in Ponto Lake Township. Incumbent Merle Weaver filed for town supervisor seat 2.
In Shingobee Township, incumbent David Laursen filed for town supervisor seat 1 and incumbent Tim Orton filed for town supervisor seat 3.
Three incumbents are seeking re-election in Smoky Hollow Township: Terry O. Mejdrich, town supervisor seat 1; Redgenia Leone, town supervisor seat 2; and Lisa J. Jordan, town treasurer.
In Torrey Township, incumbent town treasurer Ione Boor filed for re-election.
Incumbents David Sheley and Chris Cunningham have filed for seats on the Pine River-Backus School Board.
