The final day of filings saw several area residents submit their names to run for election.

Cities

In Baxter, two people filed for city council: Richard Jones and Rock Yliniemi.

Rebecca Ball and Gene Dehler filed for Breezy Point City Council.

Three people filed for election to the Crosby City Council: incumbent Ron Prushek, Jim Traylor and Ed Vukelich.

In Crosslake, Patty Norgaard filed for mayor and incumbent city council member Gary Heacox filed for re-election.

In Cuyuna, incumbent Jake Stockard filed for city council.

Emily Mayor Roger "Buddy" Lund filed for re-election.

Stephen Herzenach filed for election to the Ironton City Council.

Incumbent city council member Charles Hoffman filed for re-election to the Jenkins City Council.

In Nisswa, Bill Cruz submitted his name for city council.

Incumbent Pamela L. Dobson filed for re-election to the Riverton City Council.

In Bena, two filed for mayor and two filed for city council. Katiline Ash and incumbent Patrick M. Rooney are running for mayor. Stephanie Anwiler and incumbent Bryan L. Finn filed for city council.

Three incumbents filed in East Gull Lake. Mayor Dave Kavanaugh filed for re-election, along with council members Carol Demgen and Dennis Lang.

In Federal Dam, Mayor Dianne Zuelow Giffen filed for re-election.

Janice Pfarr filed for election to the Hackensack City Council.

Two incumbents filed in Longville: Mayor Floyd "Jocko" Kline and city council member Nathan Tabaka.

In Pillager, incumbent LeRoy Smith filed for city council.

Incumbent council member Erin Andrus Haefele filed for re-election in Walker.

In Harding, incumbent David Hayes filed for a Harding City Council seat. Incumbent Corey Hayes filed for city clerk. Incumbent Karen Hayes filed for the special election for city treasurer.

In Hillman, incumbent Norm Iverson filed for mayor. Incumbent Bob Billig filed for a seat on the city council. Incumbent Dana Iverson filed for city clerk.

Townships

Two incumbents filed in Jenkins Township: Michael H. Dubay for town supervisor seat 2 and Cheryl Stuckmayer for town treasurer.

In Oak Lawn Township, incumbent Lonnie Murray filed for town supervisor seat C and incumbent Kathy Wessel filed for town clerk in a special election.

In Pelican Township, Bruce Buck Westerberg filed for township supervisor seat C.

Frank Miles filed for a seat on the St. Mathias Township Board.

Two incumbents filed in Ansel Township: Tony Marthaler and Linda Kuschel.

Two incumbents and a newcomer filed for office in Boy Lake Township. Incumbent Mary Downham filed for town supervisor seat 1 and incumbent Torey Myers filed for town supervisor seat 2. Katharine Holten filed for town treasurer.

In Lima Township, incumbent Linda Johnson filed for re-election to town supervisor seat 1 and incumbent James Wester filed for re-election to town supervisor seat 3. Ross Hogate, who was appointed to fill a vacancy, filed for the special election for town supervisor seat 2.

In May Township, incumbent Doug Kuschel filed for re-election to town supervisor seat 2 and incumbent Stephanie Burns filed for re-election as town clerk.

Incumbent Greg Arends filed for re-election to the Maple Township Board.

Bridgette Brown, who was appointed to fill a vacancy for May Township treasurer, filed for the special election. Incumbent David J. Horn filed for town supervisor seat 1 and incumbent Bianca Wyffels filed for town clerk.

Incumbent Ernest Haehnel filed for town supervisor seat 1 in Meadow Brook Township.

In Otter Tail Peninsula Township, Frank R. Alianello, who was appointed to fill a vacancy, filed for the special election for town supervisor seat 2.

Three incumbents filed in Pike Bay Township: Richard W. Baird, town supervisor seat 1; Linda Barsness, town supervisor seat 4; and Stephanie Lueth, town supervisor seat 5. Tony South, who was appointed to fill a vacancy, filed for the special election for town supervisor seat 2.

In Powers Township, incumbent Bill Taylor filed for town supervisor seat 1 and Steve Moore filed for town supervisor seat 3.

Incumbent Jeff Perkins filed for re-election as town supervisor seat 3 in Remer Township.

In Sylvan Township, incumbent Roland Anderson filed for town supervisor seat 4.

Incumbent David Evans filed for town supervisor seat 1 in Torrey Township and incumbent Daniel V. Gielen filed for town supervisor seat 2.

In Wilson Township, the following people filed for office: incumbent Marlin Torkelson, town supervisor seat 1; John Lael, special election for town supervisor seat 3; incumbent Charlie Swenson, town supervisor seat 4; Greg Witt, town supervisor seat 4; and incumbent Mark Buchite, town supervisor seat 5.

In Pierz Township, incumbent Dean Rocheleau and Alan Hoheisel filed for town supervisor seat C.

School boards

Incumbents Shawn Hunstad and Scott Mudgett, along with Brian Grimsley, filed for seats on the Pillager School Board.
