The Brainerd Fire Department was called to a brush pile fire at 4:56 p.m. Saturday at the 300 block of Woodland Hills Lane. Firefighters assisted the Department of Natural Resources.
Firefighters were called to a dryer fire at 11:59 a.m. Sunday at the 2600 block Fred Lane. There was about $2,000 in damage, and it was contained to the dryer.
