GARRISON-A fish house sitting on the north end of Mille Lacs Lake was destroyed by fire Tuesday.
The Garrison Fire Department, along with the Aitkin County Sheriff's Office and the DNR, responded to a fire at 4:03 p.m. Garrison Fire Chief Mike Schneider said the fish house, which was unoccupied, was totally engulfed upon arrival. Authorities secured the scene, as firefighters extinguished the fire.
Schneider said the cause of the fire is unknown.
