Fire destroys rural Boy River home

BOY LAKE-Fire destroyed a single level home Friday, Nov. 16, in Boy Lake Township, in rural Boy River.

Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff's Office and the Longville Fire Department were called at 9:01 a.m. to the fire. The sheriff's office reported upon arrival the residence was fully engulfed in flames. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. There were no injuries reported.

Longville firefighter Tony Likens said they didn't call for any mutual aid and the home was a total loss.

Assisting at the scene was North Memorial Ambulance in Longville.
