PILLAGER-A car was destroyed by a fire Sunday at a business near Pillager.
The Pillager Fire Department was called to the vehicle fire at 4:49 p.m. Sunday at 4281 Highway 210, about 2 miles west of Pillager.
Assistant Chief Greg Wringler said 16 firefighters responded to the blaze, located at a business complex including Swede's Repair. Wringler said it took 12-15 minutes from the time the call was received until the fire was out.
"It (the fire) was totally involved when we pulled in," Wringler said.
The Buick four-door sedan was destroyed as a result of the fire. Wringler said the State Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause of the fire to determine whether it was set intentionally.

Wringer said the Cass County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene.
