VERNDALE -- A garage fire was reported after midnight Wednesday, Aug. 28, in Wadena County.
The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at 12:44 a.m. to a fire in a garage, which was attached to a house. The Verndale Fire Department was paged to an address on 181st Avenue in section 16 of Aldrich Township. Fire crews quickly arrived and extinguished the fire, which was contained to the garage. The garage sustained moderate damage from the fire. There were no injuries reported in the fire.
The Staples Fire Department and Tri-County Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
