A report of a gas smell Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the Brainerd Family YMCA was investigated by the Brainerd Fire Department.
Firefighters were called at 8:50 a.m. and the gas smell was located near Quince Street. Firefighters provided standby assistance for the utility company to do its work.
Firefighters responded at 3:02 a.m. Thursday to a report of a gas smell on the 500 block of Northeast Eighth Avenue, which was determined to be unfounded.
