The Brainerd Fire Department responded to two calls Friday morning, March 6.
Firefighters responded to what turned out to be a false alarm at 2:34 a.m. at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road, Baxter. At 7:39 a.m., a gas smell was reported in the area of Fairview Road. Upon investigation, it was determined to be unfounded.
