Firefighters respond to 6 calls in 4 days

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to six calls Thursday, Sept. 10, through Sunday.

Thursday:

  • Called at 3 a.m. to a possible gas leak on the 12000 block of Berrywood Drive in Baxter, which was determined to be unfounded.

  • Called at 9:35 a.m. to a carbon monoxide alarm on the 2800 block of Blair Street, which was determined to be unfounded.

  • Called at 12:31 p.m. to a possible gas leak at Northern Natural Gas Transfer Station, 12940 Oakridge Road. Firefighters provided scene assistance for the utility company.

Friday:

  • Called at 10:01 a.m. for a fire alarm on the 15000 block of Ninebark Drive. Firefighters were canceled en route.

Saturday:

  • Called at 12:52 a.m. to a fire alarm at SE’z Bar, 707 Laurel St. Upon investigation, it was determined to be a false alarm.

Sunday:

ADVERTISEMENT

  • Called at 9:46 p.m. to a power pole on fire on the 4400 block of Green Gables Road. Firefighters provide standby assistance for the utility company.
