Firefighters respond to alarms, campfire

The Brainerd Fire Department was called out three times Thursday and Friday, all of which were determined unfounded.

Firefighters were called twice Thursday-once at 12:51 p.m. and once at 8:21 p.m.-to the North Star Apartments, 410 East River Road, for a carbon monoxide alarm. Both times firefighters investigated and determined the alarm was unfounded.

At almost 2 a.m. Friday, the fire department responded to a fire report on the 1700 block of Terra Trac Road. On scene, firefighters investigated and determined it was a campfire.
