Firefighters respond to blaze in rural Nisswa pole building

Nisswa firefighters initially responded before calling for mutual aid from Mission to provide water in a tanker truck, according to a call on the police scanner.

NISSWA — Firefighters from the Nisswa Fire Department and Mission Fire and Rescue responded to a fire in a pole building the afternoon of Friday, March 19, in rural Nisswa.

Nisswa firefighters initially responded before calling for mutual aid from Mission to provide water in a tanker truck, according to a call on the police scanner. Also responding to the scene were North Memorial Health Ambulance personnel and Crow Wing Power.
