Firefighters respond to brush fire

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a small brush fire at 6:08 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, on the 9000 block of Forest Heights Drive in Baxter.

Firefighters extinguished the fire, which was caused by smoldering ashes.
