Firefighters respond to calls

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a call at 7:04 a.m. Friday to the 5400 block of Jericho Road in Baxter for a ventilation problem. Firefighters cleared the scene at 7:43 a.m. then at 10:27 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a two-vehicle crash on Elder Drive and Forthum Road in Baxter. No injuries were reported in the crash.

On Thursday, firefighters responded to two calls to check on the carbon monoxide levels. The first call was at 1:15 p.m. at Minnesota Teen Challenge in Brainerd and the second was at 5:55 p.m. on the 700 block of Walnut Street. Firefighters investigated both calls and found nothing.
