Firefighters respond to dryer fire, alarms

The Brainerd Fire Department was called to three sites in Baxter for alarms and a fire in a dryer in a business.

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a dryer fire and a carbon monoxide Tuesday, March 9.

The carbon monoxide alarm was reported at 4:40 p.m. on the 14000 block of Hemlock Drive in Baxter. Upon investigation, it was determined to be unfounded.

A dryer fire was reported at 10:01 a.m. at 13021 Evergreen Drive S. in Baxter at Cygneture Title and Abstract. Firefighters extinguished fire and ventilated the building.

Wednesday, a fire alarm at 8:56 a.m. at 7264 Fairview Road, Minnesota North District Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in Baxter was investigated and determined to be caused from construction work.
