The Brainerd Fire Department responded to two fire alarms and a carbon monoxide alarm this past weekend, Feb. 14-16.
On Friday, firefighters were called at 4:54 p.m. to a fire alarm at Northern Lights Apartments, 511 D St. The alarm was determined to be a maintenance matter. At 7:52 p.m., the department responded to the 1300 block of South Eighth Street for a carbon monoxide alarm, which was determined to be unfounded.
Firefighters were called at 10:08 p.m. Sunday to a fire alarm at Parkway Apartments, 1204 W. Campus Drive. That alarm was set off by burned food.
