The Brainerd Fire Department responded to two calls Wednesday, Jan. 16, in Brainerd.
Firefighters were called at 11:47 a.m. to a residence on the 15000 block of Old Stonebridge Trail for a report of smoke. Upon investigation, it was determined to be unfounded.
At 2:53 p.m., firefighters were called to a home on the 1000 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast for a report of a burning smell. Upon investigation, it was determined to be a maintenance matter.
