Firefighters respond to fire in Fort Ripley pole building

Flames were visible from the building and according to the police scanner, other structures were threatened by the flames.

FORT RIPLEY — Firefighters from at least two agencies battled a large blaze in a pole building Thursday, Nov. 12.

Little Falls and Brainerd firefighters responded to the fire about 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, on the 1000 block of Highway 371, just south of Nokasippi River Bridge in Fort Ripley.

Flames were visible from the building and according to the police scanner, other structures were threatened by the flames.

North Memorial Ambulance and the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.

Additional information on the fire was unavailable Thursday night.
