The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a report of a gas smell at 8:31 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, on the 12000 block of Crow Wing County Highway 8. Upon investigation, the call was determined to be unfounded.
Firefighters also were called at 10:04 p.m. Monday to Speed Cycle Laundromat, 1307 S. Sixth St., for a dryer fire. Upon arrival, the fire was out. Firefighters ventilated the building.
