The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a call at 9:41 a.m. Wednesday to the Harmony House, 218 SW Ninth St. Firefighters investigated and determined it to be a malfunctioning detector.
Firefighters also were called at 8:19 a.m. Tuesday to the area of Sycamore Street and South Seventh Street for a report of smoke in the area. Firefighters determined the call was unfounded.
