Firefighters respond to report of chimney fire

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a report of a building fire at 7:32 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, on the 11000 block of Oro Way, south of Merrifield.

Police scanner reports initially reported a chimney fire and later stated the roof was on fire. There were no initial reports of injuries or occupants. No further details were available via the Brainerd Fire Department as of Wednesday night.
