Firefighters respond to report of smoke in the area

The Brainerd Fire Department is at the intersection of East River Road and Laurel Street in Brainerd.

The Brainerd Fire Department was called at 8:15 p.m. March 10 to smoke in the area of the 17000 block of Highway 18.

Upon investigation, it was determined to be a legal brush burn.
