The Brainerd Fire Department was called to a shed fire Friday morning, Sept. 18, on the 3900 block of Gull Lake Dam Road, north of Baxter.
Firefighters extinguished the fire, cleared the scene and were called back a second time before the noon hour. The cause of the fire is under investigation with help from the Minnesota Fire Marshal’s Office, Brainerd Fire Chief Tim Holmes stated in an email.
Firefighters were called to a fire alarm at 11:03 a.m. Thursday at Woodland Good Samaritan, 100 Buffalo Hills Lane, to what turned out to be a false alarm.
Firefighters responded at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday to a report of smoke in a home on the 1100 block of Quince Street, which was determined to be caused by sewer maintenance.
