The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a call at 12:40 p.m. Monday to Northern Lakes Senior Care, 8182 Excelsior Drive, Brainerd. It was reported that the senior care facility was working on its fire alarm system, resulting in the alarm going off.
Firefighters also responded to a call at 9:07 p.m. Sunday to a residence on the 800 block of Brook Street for a carbon monoxide incident. Firefighters investigated and found carbon monoxide. The gas company was called and a firefighter stood by.
