The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a variety of calls since Thursday, Dec. 12.
A call Thursday was a furnace fire at 8:26 p.m. on the 800 block of South Eighth Street. Upon arrival, the fire was extinguished and firefighters ventilated the residence.
Firefighters responded to fire alarms Friday at 11:10 a.m. to Spirit Horse Center, 8386 50th Ave., and at 12:47 a.m. to Harmony House, 218 SW Ninth St., but were canceled en route on both calls.
Firefighters were called to assist with a stalled elevator at 10:34 p.m. Sunday at Excelsior Place, 14211 Firewood Drive, Baxter.
