The Brainerd Fire Department responded to two calls each day this weekend.
At 1:46 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a smoke smell on the 1200 block of Pine Street. Then at 8:46 p.m., firefighters were called to a deck fire on the 11000 block of Pine Shores Lane.
On Sunday, firefighters were called at 3:31 p.m. to a fire alarm on the 400 block of South Seventh Street and at 4:21 p.m. to a carbon monoxide alarm in the 9100 block of Twins Street. Firefighters investigated both alarms and found the carbon monoxide detector had a malfunction.
