Firefighters work through strong winds, quickly extinguish wildfire

A running wild fire was contained Friday, April 2, 2021, east of Brainerd near Highway 18.

I was raised on a farm in western Minnesota where I participated in 4-H, high school sports, and everything that farm kids do for fun after chores.
