Firefighters respond to 4 calls
The Brainerd Fire Department responded to four calls Wednesday, Aug. 15.
The first call was at 3:09 p.m. at Dean's Auto Parts, 12742 Evergreen Drive, for a cut gas line. Upon arrival, firefighters provided standby assistance.
Back-to-back fire calls were reported after 8 p.m. at Olive Garden, 7399 Garrison Road, and Ulta Beauty, 13499 Elmwood Drive. Firefighters investigated and determined the alarms went off from an area power outage. The last call was at 8:56 p.m. to a residence on the 12000 block of Scenic River Drive for a carbon monoxide alarm. Upon investigation, it was determined to be a false alarm.
