Firefighters respond to calls
The Brainerd Fire Department responded to four fire alarms since Friday, Nov. 30.
Firefighters were called at 2:41 p.m. Friday to Woodland Good Samaritan, 2501 Greenwood St., Brainerd, to what was determined to be a false alarm.
Firefighters were called at 9:50 a.m. Saturday to Big Lots, 14136 Baxter Drive, for a report of a gas smell. Upon investigation, it was determined to be a maintenance concern. At 11:25 a.m. Saturday firefighters responded to Mr. Tubbs, 502 NE Eighth Ave., Brainerd, for a report of a dryer fire. Upon investigation, no fire was found and it was determined to be an electrical concern.
At 8:23 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to a carbon monoxide alarm on the 1400 block of Northeast 14th Avenue, which was determined to be unfounded.
