Brainerd firefighters respond
The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a variety of calls the past few days.
Firefighters were called at 7:02 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, to a residence on the 2600 block of Crestiview Lane. Upon investigation, it was determined to be a false alarm.
Firefighters were called to three fire alarms Sunday, Feb. 24: At 2 a.m., there was a vehicle fire on the 300 block of North Ninth Street; at 10:07 a.m. there was a carbon monoxide alarm on the 700 block of Walnut Street. Upon investigation, it was determined to be a false alarm; And at 1:34 p.m. an oven fire was reported on the 6500 block of Brandon Way. The fire was put out and firefighters ventilated the area.
Firefighters also responded to a call at 6:27 p.m. Feb. 21, at Pleasureland RV, 16599 N. Highway 371, for a fire alarm. Upon investigation, it was determined to be a false alarm.
