The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a variety of calls since Friday, June 26.

Firefighters extinguished an electrical fire at 5:29 p.m. Friday on the 6000 block of Estate Drive, south of Brainerd.

Firefighters responded to three calls Saturday, with the first being a power pole fire at 11:49 a.m. in the area of Crow Wing County Highway 45. Firefighters extinguished the power pole fire, as well as a small grass fire. Another grass fire was reported at 2:34 p.m. on the 17000 block of Terratrac Road off Wise Road in Brainerd.

A structure fire was reported at 6:43 p.m. on the 12000 block of Knollwood Drive in Baxter. Upon arrival, flames were seen from a grill, which had damaged the siding of a home. Crews checked to see if the fire had spread and nothing was found.

Firefighters responded to one call Sunday at 1:15 p.m. on the 500 block of South Eighth Street. Upon arrival, a small area of wooden steps and siding was burned. Fire crews checked for fire spread and cooled the area with water.
