Five cubs and momma bear hang around in Merrifield

Bill Hart, who lives on Upper Mission Lake in Merrifield, submitted videos and photographs of a black bear and her five cubs who venture often into his backyard. Hart said the bears are always together and play in his yard. He said bears visited his property for years and this is the first time he has ever seen this many cubs with the mother.
