REDBY - The family of missing northern Minnesota woman Rose Downwind has posted downloadable reward fliers on Facebook for people who want to help spread the word about her disappearance.
Downwind, 31, of Redby last was seen by her family Oct. 19 at Target in Bemidji. She reportedly was planning to go to St. Paul, but friends in St. Paul say they have not seen her.
An ex-boyfriend told police he saw her leaving a Bemidji residence on Oct. 21. Bemidji police say she was wearing a blue sweater and black pants and may have gotten into a blue vehicle of unknown make and model.
Downwind is described as a light-skinned American Indian, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 115 pounds. She has long, straight dark hair.
Downwind is the granddaughter of American Indian Movement co-founder Dennis Banks. Reality television personality Duane “Dog” Chapman has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to Downwind’s safe return.
