The Crossing Arts Alliance will host its annual Arty Party for children from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in the cafeteria in the Franklin Arts Center in Brainerd.
Children will create Calder-inspired mobiles, study the shapes that inspired Matisse, ponder Picasso's paintings and create an arty snack.
This event is open to the public. Cost is $3 per child or $5 per family. Material donation is requested but no child will be turned away due to need.
