OGEMA – Authorities are investigating a suspicious death in a small western Minnesota community.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Becker County Sheriff’s Office and White Earth Tribal Police Department are investigating the death of a man who was run over at about 10 p.m. Friday near 370th Street East in Ogema, authorities said. Officials had not identified the man.
Becker County sheriff’s deputies determined foul play may have been involved and called the BCA for assistance. The Minnesota State Patrol is also assisting in the investigation.
The man’s body was sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy and formal identification, authorities said.
The sheriff’s office would not release additional information on the victim.

Minnesota Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Jill Oliveira said more information on the victim and circumstances surrounding the death would be available by Monday.
Ogema is about 60 miles northeast of Fargo-Moorhead.
