FRAZEE - The fire chief in the small town of Frazee in northwest Minnesota is under investigation at the Frazee Liquor Store.
Police investigated the allegations against Fire Chief Reggie Ueke and have forwarded the case to the Becker County Attorney’s Office for consideration of criminal charges, said Frazee City Administrator Jonathan Smith.
Frazee Mayor Hank Ludtke said Tuesday that Ueke had verbally resigned his position, but Smith on Wednesday said no written resignation has been received and Ueke remains fire chief, a position he has held for about two years.
