To celebrate the 100th birthday of Brainerd’s historic water tower, Mayor Dave Badeaux will hand out free cupcakes Thursday, Dec. 10.
Beginning at 11:30 a.m., the first 100 people to stop by the Mills parking lot on Front Street near the tower will receive a free cupcake. Masks are requested.
The committee working to restore the tower hopes to throw a bigger birthday celebration next year after COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
