Free Skywarn spotter classes set Thursday

Crow Wing County is offering a free Skywarn weather spotter class at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Crow Wing County Land Service Building meeting rooms one and two.

Crow Wing County is offering a free Skywarn weather spotter class at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Crow Wing County Land Service Building meeting rooms one and two.

The class is open to everyone interested. No registration is required.

Skywarn is part of the National Weather Service's warning program designed to establish a network of volunteers trained in the detection and reporting of life-threatening storms.
