Free Zoom gardening webinar offered with the Brainerd Public Library

This class is designed for first-time gardeners, but experienced growers might also pick up a tip or two.

“Flower Gardening for Beginners” will be presented by Master Gardener Jackie Burkey at noon May 11 via Zoom.

The presentation will be an overview of the basics for new gardeners. This class is designed for first-time gardeners, but experienced growers also are welcome. Register for this free Zoom webinar by calling the library at 218-829-5574 or registering online at tinyurl.com/CWCgarden . The Zoom link will be sent in a confirmation email after registration.

Free Master Gardener classes through the University of Minnesota Extension Crow Wing County Master Gardeners will take place through December 2021. Monthly presentations facilitated by certified UMN Extension Crow Wing County Master Gardeners will discuss subjects ranging from garden tools to gourds. Master Gardeners are University of Minnesota-trained volunteers whose job is to educate the public about a variety of horticulture subjects. The Master Gardener Program educational effort is designed to enhance the public's quality of life and to promote good stewardship of the environment.
