"Have you ever wondered what the condition of our lakes will be in the future, and if there are any plans underway to protect their water quality? Retaining forested watersheds is a leading strategy that is emerging in Minnesota and elsewhere," a class description stated. "Private forests and what we do with them in particular will go a long way to define future water quality. Private landowners will be the key."

Speaker Dan Steward of the Minnesota DNR-Soil and Water Conservation will be the speaker. For more information, contact Karen Wilson at northwoodskaren@gmail.com or 651-270-1778.
