Parents of students at Garfield and Lowell elementary schools are invited to a parent cafe event July 24 at Garfield.
This free event will allow kids to interact with their fellow students while parents get to know other parents and engage in conversations.
Parents can check in their kids at 12:50 p.m., with the parent cafe happening 1-3 p.m. An ice cream sundae bar and social will follow 3-3:30 p.m.
Those who plan to attend should email Amy Wyatt at amy@bridgesofhopemn.org by Monday, July 22, with their name and the number of parents and kids attending so enough ice cream can be bought for everyone.
This event is sponsored by the Bridges of Hope Self-Healing Communities project, Garfield Elementary and the YMCA. The Brainerd Rotary Foundation offered a grant to fund the event.
