GARRISON — A 26-year-old Crosby woman suffered injuries Tuesday, Aug. 25, in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 169 in Garrison.
The Minnesota State Patrol was called to the crash at 10:31 p.m. A Chevrolet Cavalier was traveling north on Highway 169 at 460th Street when it crossed over the centerline and went into the southbound shoulder off the highway. The driver, Alisha Jo Peterson, 26, Crosby, then overcorrected, according to the crash report, and struck a Chrysler minivan also in the southbound lanes.
Peterson was transported to Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the van, Christopher Lee Moritz, 43, Garrison, was not injured.
The Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office, Onamia Fire Department and Life Link III flight assisted the state patrol at the scene.
