Garrison woman injured in broadside crash

ONAMIA - A 34-year-old Garrison woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 6:20 p.m. Monday on Highway 169 near Noopiming Drive in Mille Lacs County, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.

ONAMIA - A 34-year-old Garrison woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 6:20 p.m. Monday on Highway 169 near Noopiming Drive in Mille Lacs County, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.

It was reported a Lincoln LS driven by Princella Black Spotted Horse, 19, Onamia, was attempting to cross Highway 169, when it failed to yield to a Dodge Caravan, driven by Jesse C. Boyd, 34, Garrison, which was southbound. The Dodge struck the Lincoln broadside on the rear passenger side.

Boyd was transported to Mills Lacs Health in Onamia for non-life threatening injuries. Black Spotted Horse was not injured. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.

Spotted Black Horse had a passenger with her, Jordan J. Anderson, 20, Onamia, who was not injured.

The Mille Lacs Tribal Police Department assisted the state patrol on the scene.
