In preparation for the cookie sale, Girl Scouts will gather for a program called Cookie University on Feb. 3 to set goals and practice running a successful cookie business.

The Brainerd event is open to all girls who want to attend with a troop or a parent. Adults can either join in with the girls or get practical tips from other parents in supporting the girls.

All school age girls are invited to join Girl Scouts and participate in Cookie University for $7 for current Girl Scouts and $22 (includes membership) for new girls. Following Cookie University, girls will be able to run their own cookie business the following week.

Cookie University is free for adults who attend with a girl. Pre-registration is necessary.
