Knitted hats and scarves hang from trees in front of the Brainerd Police Department Friday, Jan. 4, and are there for those who need them. Tags attached to garments proclaim "I am not lost! If you are cold, please take me to keep you warm." On its Facebook page, Utrinkets reported the new items were placed on the Giving Trees with an agreement with the police department.
