MOORHEAD – A Glyndon woman who was arrested for driving drunk with Jell-O shots in her pockets was sentenced Tuesday to three years in prison with credit for three months and five days already served.
Cathy Sanchez, 29, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Cass County District Court (ND) to one felony count of driving while intoxicated.
Court documents say Sanchez was pulled over by Glyndon police after she was seen swerving on Highway 10 about 2 a.m. May 31.
An officer found three alcoholic Jell-O shots in her pockets when he searched her after noticing she smelled of alcohol and had failed a series of field sobriety tests.
Her blood-alcohol concentration was reported at 0.136 percent in a breath test at the scene, court documents say. The legal limit is 0.08 percent.

Several other charges were dropped in exchange for Sanchez’s guilty plea.
