A GoFundMe account has been set up for Verndale resident Lyle Broughton and his wife.
At the end of July, Broughton was seriously injured when the gas tank for the tractor he was riding exploded. He is still in the burn unit recovering.
Any money raised in the campaign will be used to help cover their mounting medical costs, as well as support his recovery. The Broughtons' home was also devastated by a fire last year and they are still trying to rebuild. They didn't have insurance.
