The Cass County Republican Basic Political Operating Unit precinct caucuses will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25.
The sessions will end no earlier than 8 p.m. to conduct the ordinary business required of the caucus gathering. Locations are:
Walker High School, 16 precincts โ Bena, Cass Lake, Hardwood South, Leech Lake Township, Ottertail Peninsula, Pike Bay Township, Pine Lake Township, Rogers Point, Shingobee Township P-1, Shingobee Township P-2, Sucker Lakes Township, Turtle Lake Township, Walker, Wilkinson Township, Willow River Township and Winnie Portage Lakes.
Northland (Remer) High School, 18 precincts โ Beulah Township, Boy Lake Township, Boy River, Crooked Lake Township, Federal Dam, Gould Township, Lima Township, Remer, Remer Township, Rogers Township, Salem Township, Slater Township, Smoky Hollow Township, Thunder Lake Township, Torrey Township, Trelipe Township and Wahnena Township.
Longville City Hall, 5 precincts โ Inguadona Township, Kego Township, Longville, Wabedo Township and Woodrow Township.
Pine River High School, 22 precincts โ Ansel Township, Backus, Barclay Township, Birch Lake Township, Blind Lake Township, Bull Moose Township, Bungo Township, Chickamaw Beach, Deerfield Township, Hackensack, Hiram Township, Loon Lake Township, Maple Township, McKinley Township, Moose Lake Township, Pine River, Pine River Township, Ponto Lake Township, Poplar Township, Powers Township, Walden Township and Wilson Township.
Pillager High School, 11 precincts โ Becker Township, Byron Township, East Gull Lake, Fairview Township, Home Brook Township, Lake Shore, May Township, Meadow Brook Township, Motley, Pillager and Sylvan Township.
The caucuses are for the purpose of electing delegates and alternates to the Cass County BPOU Convention on March 14. The election of precinct officers, discussion of recommended resolutions and any suggested changes to the Republican platform of Minnesota will also take place.
