Nolan applauds EPA administrator's decision to resign
Congressman Rick Nolan, D-Crosby, issued a statement applauding Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt's decision to resign his office after months of allegations, scandals and controversies surrounding Pruitt's ethics and management of the agency.
"The American people have had enough of the constant bombardment of unethical and misleading behavior by EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt," Nolan stated in the release. "The simple truth is, the EPA requires a true leader who is focused on running the agency and protecting our precious environment. I urge the president to proceed as quickly and prudently as possible to appoint such an individual."
